The Churches’ Hellish Teaching On Hell

  1. Great how you christians can’t agree on what baseless claims you wan to make. You cant’ agree about hell, heaven, what morals your god wans, free will/predestination, who is saved, how someone is saved, etc.

    It’s quite a fraud.

“It is God’s greatest desire that not one of his children should perish, that is, be annihilated forever. That is why he sent his Son so that by believing in him, we can have eternal life. But the wicked who deliberately refuse to accept salvation will not be allowed to exist anymore – neither on earth nor in hell. They will eternally miss out on the wonderful life of the saved people in the Kingdom of God. While the righteous will be plucking fruits from the twelve trees lining the stream to Christ’s throne, the wicked will lie oblivious to all that’s going on in the universe. “

Nope, your sadistic little fantasies will never come true. And if your god really wants everyone to believe in it, he needs to show up, not have some set of baseless claims in an ignorant book that says idiotic things like stars are little lights in a dome that can be knocked off.

    1. Keep on doubting, but be sincere to yourself. Just don’t be a hypocrite to your own conscience. If you sincerely believe what you say, you are one of the exceptional people who don’t believe any religious teaching just because their parents believe it. But I think you got your beliefs about the ‘ignorant book’ from your parents or your spiritual teachers. Why don’t you read it yourself and see if it says that ‘stars are little lights in a dome that can be knocked off.’

      1. I have no reason not to doubt the baseless claims of ignorant cultists, Joseph. My conscience is quite fine with not needing to worship a genocidal lunatic.

Nope, I didn’t get my ideas about the bible from anyone but myself. I read it, realized that it was no different from any other set of myths and had no evidence to support its often disgusting claims. So your assumptions fail miserably.

Funny how it says exactly that, Joseph.

“14 And God said, “Let there be lights in the dome of the sky to separate the day from the night; and let them be for signs and for seasons and for days and years, 15 and let them be lights in the dome of the sky to give light upon the earth.” And it was so. 16 God made the two great lights—the greater light to rule the day and the lesser light to rule the night—and the stars. 17 God set them in the dome of the sky to give light upon the earth, 18 to rule over the day and over the night, and to separate the light from the darkness. And God saw that it was good. 19 And there was evening and there was morning, the fourth day.” Genesis 1

The hebrew word for “dome” here is “Pronounce: raw-kee’-ah

        Strong: H7549

Orig: from 7554; properly, an expanse, i.e. the firmament or (apparently) visible arch of the sky:–firmament. H7554

        Use: TWOT-2217a Noun Masculine

        Grk Strong: G3772 G4733

        1) extended surface (solid), expanse, firmament
1a) expanse (flat as base, support)
1b) firmament (of vault of heaven supporting waters above)
1b1) considered by Hebrews as solid and supporting ‘waters’ above”

Then we have about how they can fall off:

“24 “But in those days, after that suffering,

        the sun will be darkened,
and the moon will not give its light,
25 and the stars will be falling from heaven,
and the powers in the heavens will be shaken.” mark 13

“12 When he opened the sixth seal, I looked, and there came a great earthquake; the sun became black as sackcloth, the full moon became like blood, 13 and the stars of the sky fell to the earth as the fig tree drops its winter fruit when shaken by a gale.” Revelation 6

      2. Pleasantly surprised that you have read the Bible, unless most Christians who get their beliefs from their parents or pastors. Hope you’ll keep reading, and if anytime you happen to come across some new understanding, I’d be happy to hear about it.

      3. I’ve read two different versions the KJV and the NRSV. Both were a slog and it really did show how these cults (since there is no one christianity) really fail miserably.
